Ken Shubin Stein

Ken Shubin Stein's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Ken is currently serving as the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Atria Institute since June 2021. In this role, they lead a movement to improve the quality of life and promote preventive healthcare.

Prior to this, Ken founded Cortex Group, LLC in 2020 and served as the Chairman. Ken also worked as a Senior Advisor at Osmosis - Knowledge Diffusion from October 2018. Osmosis is a platform that helps medical and health professions students succeed in their programs.

Ken's experience also includes serving as the Chairman and Co-Founder of the Board of Directors at the International Concussion Society since 2017. Ken has been a part of the Hospital for Special Surgery's Board of Advisors since June 2013.

Additionally, Ken has held various leadership positions in organizations such as Crutches 4 Kids (C4K), where they served as Chairman, and Columbia Business School, where they worked as an Adjunct Professor. Ken also founded and served as Chairman of Spencer Capital Holdings, Ltd. from 2011 to 2019. Furthermore, Ken worked as a Portfolio Manager at Spencer Capital Management from 2000 to 2017.

Ken Shubin Stein pursued a BA in Premedical Studies and Political Science from Columbia College, Columbia University, from 1988 to 1991. Following that, they enrolled in a 5-year medical and research program specializing in molecular genetics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, obtaining an MD degree between 1991 and 1996. In 2014, Shubin Stein pursued a Master's Degree in Public Health at Columbia University, which they completed in 2016. Additionally, they earned a Certificate in Owner/President Management Program (OPM) from Harvard Business School in 2016-2018. Subsequently, from 2016 to 2018, they attended the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health to obtain a Master of Science (MS) in Epidemiology.
