Tessa Anttila has a diverse work experience in various industries. Tessa started their career as a cashier at Henkilöstöratkaisu Extraajat Oy in December 2015. Later, they worked at Outokumpu as an oxy-fuel cutter and process operator. At Stora Enso, they worked as a process operator in downstream processing and took on more responsibilities in their second year. In 2019, Tessa worked as a process design trainee at NESTE ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS AB, where they focused on P&ID and flow chart updates. Tessa then joined Wärtsilä as a summer trainee in the R&D department and later became a master's thesis worker, focusing on estimating nitrogen oxides from a diesel engine. Most recently, Tessa has been working at Atria Plc as a project designer, where they are involved in project engineer tasks related to a poultry plant under construction.

Tessa Anttila started their education at Alajärven lukio from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained their Matriculation examination. Tessa then attended the University of Oulu from 2015 to 2019, earning their Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering. Continuing their education at the same university, Tessa pursued a Master's Degree Programme in Process Engineering specializing in Bioprocess Engineering from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including an Occupational Safety Card from Työturvallisuuskeskus in April 2021, a PMAF Project Management Foundation Certificate from Projektiyhdistys PRY, Project Management Association Finland in December 2018, and a Forklift Operator Licence Card in April 2017 (institution not specified).
