Alyssa Hahn

Alyssa Hahn has a diverse range of work experience. Starting from 2011, they worked at Carroll College as an Admissions Ambassador and a Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry. Alyssa further worked as an Organic Chemistry Research Assistant from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2015, they joined the University of Vermont College of Medicine as a Graduate Student Researcher, focusing on Immunology and Infectious Diseases. In 2015, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Principles of Biology. Alyssa then joined Montana State University-Bozeman in 2015 and held various positions, including Graduate Student Researcher in Orthopedics and Osteoarthritis, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Graduate Student Researcher in Biofilm Engineering and Infectious Disease and Immunology. Lastly, in 2018, they became an Associate Professor of Biomechanics at Carroll College and later a Principal Publications Specialist at AtriCure, Inc. starting from 2024.

Alyssa Hahn's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Carroll College, completed between 2011 and 2014. In 2012, they also attended Oregon State University as a non-degree seeking student to take core classes. From 2014 to 2015, they were a graduate student at the University of Vermont, studying Cell, Molecular, and Biomedical Sciences. Alyssa then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Cell Biology / Biomechanics at Montana State University-Bozeman until 2018. Additionally, in 2017 to 2018, they obtained a College Teaching Certificate from Montana State University-Bozeman, specializing in Adult and Higher Education.
