Stefan Besling

Stefan Besling has over 20 years of work experience in various leadership roles in the engineering and software development industry. Stefan is currently serving as the Head of Development at atrify since March 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President Engineering at Aspect Software from 2016 to 2019. Stefan also served as the Senior Director of Cloud Engineering at Aspect Software from 2015 to 2016. Before joining Aspect Software, Stefan worked as the Vice President of Engineering at VoiceObjects/Voxeo from 2002 to 2015. Stefan also served as the Director of Voice Applications at yy software, inc. in 2001. Stefan started their career as the CTO and Co-Founder of Spridge, Inc., a spin-off project from Philips Electronics, where they managed operations and created a business plan targeting voice-driven interactions on mobile devices. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at Philips Multimedia Center from 1993 to 1999.

Stefan Besling's education history begins in 1987 when they enrolled at TU Dortmund University. Stefan pursued a degree in Computer Science and completed their studies in 1992, obtaining a Dipl.-Inf. (M.A.) degree. In addition to their formal education, Stefan has obtained various certifications from Google. In October 2020, they achieved the certification for Google Cloud Essentials. Furthermore, in July 2023, Stefan obtained certifications in Digital Transformation with Google Cloud, Introduction to Generative AI, Introduction to Large Language Models, Introduction to responsible AI, and Kubernetes in Google Cloud, all from Google.
