Abrar Justin Ahmed

Abrar Justin Ahmed, MD, currently serves as an EMS Fellow at Atrium Health since June 2025. Prior to this role, Abrar worked as an Attending Physician at Professional Emergency Physicians P.C. from July 2023 to July 2025 and completed a three-year Emergency Medicine residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center from April 2020 to June 2023, one of the busiest trauma centers in Brooklyn, NY. Abrar's medical journey began as an EMT I for Northwell Health from July 2013 to July 2021, providing pre-hospital emergency medical services and participating in critical patient transport. Additional experience includes serving as a Community Assistant at Campus Square, an Unarmed Security Guard with FJC Security Services, a Chemistry Research Assistant at C.J. Zhong Research Lab, and a Food Prep/Delivery worker at Escape State Street. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Saba University School of Medicine (2015-2020) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Binghamton University (2009-2013).
