Dwight Owens

Dwight Owens, MD, currently serves as a Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist at Atrium Health since February 2021 and has been the CEO and Medical Director of Peachstate Psychiatric Services, Inc. since August 1999, focusing on Christian Behavioral Health and populations affected by early childhood trauma and obesity. Previous roles include Consultant Psychiatrist at Community Development Systems from January 2018 to February 2020, Site Director at Southern Crescent Hospital from June 2019 to January 2020, and Medical Director for Fulton County Government from February 2000 to September 2005. Dwight Owens earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse, completed a Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at Emory University, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Morehouse College.
