Eddie Bethea

Eddie Bethea, MBA has over 40 years of experience in the risk management and insurance field. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Risk Management & Claims at Advocate Health, starting in 2023. Prior to this, Eddie worked at Atrium Health for over 20 years, where they held various roles including Vice President of Risk Management & Insurance and Assistant Vice President of Corporate Risk Management. In these roles, they oversaw all risk management functions for the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in the US. Eddie also has experience as the President & Board Member of AV Insurance, as a Member of the Board of Directors at Professional Security Insurance Company, and as the Director of Risk Management & Insurance at Atrium Health. Eddie began their career as a Claims Adjuster at Piedmont Airlines and later worked as a Workers' Compensation Adjuster at Mcdevitt Street. Eddie Bethea brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role at Advocate Health.

Eddie Bethea, MBA, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of North Carolina Asheville. Eddie further pursued their education at Queens University of Charlotte, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
