Jonathan Schwartz

Jonathan Schwartz, MD, FACC, FSCAI, serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Wake Forest School of Medicine since September 2022, while also holding the position of Medical Director for Interventional Cardiology and Structural & Interventional Cardiologist at Atrium Health's Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute since August 2018. Previously, Schwartz held roles as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and completed fellowships at the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation and Stanford University School of Medicine. Schwartz's extensive training includes a Chief Medical Resident role at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and a Biomedical Engineering Internship at Medtronic. Educational achievements include a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University, an MD from the University of Minnesota Medical School, and a Certificate in Biodesign from Stanford University.
