Lisa Farmer

Lisa Farmer has a diverse work experience in the field of histopathology. Lisa is currently working as an IHC Lead Technician at Atrium Health since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Clinical Pathology Laboratories from 2014 to 2021, starting as a Histology Technician and eventually being promoted to IHC Lead Technician. From 2006 to 2014, Lisa worked at Ascension as a Histotechnician, where they performed routine histology, special stains, and IHC. Lisa also had experience in cytoprep. Lisa's earliest work experience dates back to their time as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University from 1997 to 2001.

Lisa Farmer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Florida, which they earned from 1992 to 1996. In addition, they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Histotechnology from Florida State College at Jacksonville from 2004 to 2006. Lisa also has certifications as a Histotechnician (ASCP) from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), obtained in 2007, and as a Qualification in Immunohistochemistry (QIHC) from the same institution.
