Maithili Acharya

Maithili Acharya is an undergraduate researcher at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, contributing to electrochemical research under the Walter Research Group since August 2021. Maithili has also served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for Principles of Biology I and gained diverse hands-on experience in the healthcare field as an operating room attendant at UNC Health Rex and a chiropractic clinical assistant at Keith Clinic Estramonte Chiropractic. Additional experience includes serving as a volunteer in the oncology department at UNC REX Healthcare, mentoring in art and music, and co-founding TriGuardian Technologies. Maithili is pursuing a Bachelor of Chemistry with a Biochemistry focus, alongside a minor in Mathematics at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, following a pathway in science from Wake Technical Community College and earning a high school diploma from Panther Creek High School.
