Valerie K. Snell

Valerie K. Snell, RD, LDN is a Senior Outpatient Pulmonology/CF Registered Dietitian at Atrium Health since April 2022, providing nutritional care to pediatric pulmonary patients. Prior to this role, Snell worked at Novant Health as an Inpatient Pediatric & PICU Registered Dietitian, where responsibilities included administering Medical Nutrition Therapy across various pediatric specialties, training fellow dietitians and interns, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Snell gained foundational experience during a Dietetic Internship at the University of Virginia Health System and has a solid academic background with a degree in Nutrition from Penn State University. Further educational endeavors included roles as a teaching assistant and peer educator, coupled with hands-on experience in pediatric nutrition counseling at Wake Forest Baptist Health.
