Valerie Hilliard

Valerie Hilliard has a diverse work experience spanning from 1994 to 2023. Valerie began their career in the telecommunications industry, working as a Local Service Consultant and later as a Field Engineer at MCI Communications Corp. Valerie then joined Winstar as a Senior Technical Consultant and Field Operations Manager. In 2001, Valerie started their own business, Appraisal Pros, LLC, where they served as President, Appraiser, and Instructor until 2009. During this time, they also worked as an Appraiser IV at the DeKalb County Property Appraisal Department. In 2009, Valerie joined Wal-Mart Corp. as a Senior Manager in Property Tax, where they managed a multi-state property tax portfolio. Valerie achieved significant tax savings by successfully appealing assessments. Currently, Valerie is working at Atrium Hospitality as the Director of Property Tax.

Valerie Hilliard holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Technical Management from DeVry Institute of Technology. Additionally, they have an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Industrial/Computer Technology from Greenville Technical College.
