David Porter

David Porter, MBA, CMI, is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in property tax management. Currently serving as the Director of Tax (Property) at Kinder Morgan, Inc. since 2017, David has been with the company since 2007 in various capacities, including Manager of Property Tax and Senior Property Tax Consultant. Prior experience includes roles at Burr Wolff as a Senior Property Tax Consultant, CBIZ as a Manager and Consultant, and James A. Hall and Associates as a Tax Consultant. David began the tax consultancy career in 1993 with Avtax. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston-Downtown, earned over a span from 1983 to 2009.
