Kevin Boronka

Kevin Boronka started their career as a Software Developer at Control Advancements Inc. in September 1997. Kevin then worked as a Software Developer Co-op at Automated Solutions International Inc. from September 1998 to September 1999. Kevin joined Meikle Automation in June 1999 as a Controls Programmer and later became a Software Developer in April 2004. At Meikle Automation, they developed various software suites, including SoftPLC software, OEE monitoring software, and SQL Data Collection software. Kevin worked at Meikle Automation until November 2009. Kevin then joined ATS Automation as a Senior Control Systems Software Designer and was later promoted to Senior Software Developer. In their role at ATS Automation, they were responsible for leading a team and working on an IIoT data collection and reporting system. Kevin was involved in full-stack development using C#, Javascript, CSS, Angular, D3.js, Node.js, Express, Python, and SQL. Kevin also introduced Scrum methodologies to the team. Kevin worked at ATS Automation until May 2019 and currently holds the position of Software Development Team Lead at the same company.

Kevin Boronka attended Conestoga College from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, with a specialization in Robotics and Automation. In 2020, they also received certifications in "Culture of Kaizen," "Improving Your Listening Skills," and "Learn Emotional Intelligence, the Key Determiner of Success" from LinkedIn.
