Kevin Tanaka

Kevin Tanaka has a strong background in automation and engineering. Kevin started their career at McNally Construction Inc. in 2008 as an Engineering Co-op. From there, they joined ATS Automation in 2013 as a Junior Automation Designer, specializing in Systems Design. Over the years, they worked their way up to the position of Intermediate Automation Designer. In 2020, they took on the role of Automated Systems Design Specialist, where they were responsible for complex technical solutions and mentoring other Systems Engineers. Currently, Kevin is working at ATS Automation as a Team Lead - Systems Design, where they continue to contribute their expertise and support to the department.

Kevin Tanaka received a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University in 2010. Kevin then pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, completing it in 2013. In 2014, they obtained certification as a Laser Safety Officer from Rockwell Laser Industries. Additionally, in 2018, they obtained the Professional Engineer (P.Eng) certification from Professional Engineers Ontario.
