Simon Whiteley

Simon Whiteley is a skilled Mechanical Designer with extensive experience in both nuclear and automation sectors. Currently at ATS Automation since October 2020, Simon has previously contributed to Clearpath Inc. as a Mechanical Designer Co-op, focusing on failure analyses for Autonomous Mobile Robots. Simon also held a Mechanical Design Co-op position at Scott Process Equipment and Controls, where involvement in the development of industrial gas smokehouses was key. Earlier experience includes a role at Solutions Through Design, creating engineering drawings and supervising small teams, as well as an Equipment Technician position at TRH Services Limited, performing maintenance and compliance testing on medical devices. Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Systems Engineering from Conestoga College, completed in 2020.
