Sherif Elkomaty

Sherif Elkomaty is a seasoned legal and security professional with extensive experience in financial institutions. Currently serving as the Legal Director and Head of Security, Health & Safety, and Fraud Management at Attijariwafa Bank Egypt since November 2017, Sherif oversees critical aspects of security and compliance within the organization. Prior to this role, Sherif worked at Barclays Banks from May 2008 to November 2017, where responsibilities included heading security investigations and fraud management, as well as leading the Barclays Africa Investigation Cluster. Sherif is also pursuing a Licentiate degree in Law and Security from the Police Academy of Egypt, expected to be completed in April 2025.
