What You'll Do:

In this role you’ll have ownership for developing and executing social strategy supporting a key e-commerce client. You are someone who stays abreast of social trends and plays a critical role in shaping social strategies and growing presence of brands, mostly but not exclusively on social. The ideal candidate is a social media native who pays attention to trends and/or is confident in modern social media navigation, outreach, impressions and engagement. 

Day to day:

  • You'll take pride in the client’s brand storytelling - creating compelling content that meets campaign objectives and is useful for audiences.
  • Own the development of channel-first social advertising strategies that are in line with the brand’s campaign goals.
  • Oversee the development of world class, audience-first, paid social creative that integrates into brand campaigns, is native to social channels, and leverages third-party-created content when applicable.
  • Use data and audience insights to ensure that we are creating work that our audiences find compelling and useful. Partner with media agencies to report on social campaign performance.
  • Stay ahead of the latest trends and opportunities in the world of social media and provide POVs on where the brand’s campaigns have opportunities.
  • Collaborate with client’s social teams to ensure social campaign creative is additive to their broader social presence.
  • Audit and provide guidance on how content is developed for future campaigns.
  • Present ideas and concepts to stakeholders internally and externally, working closely with project management team.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet ambitious deadlines.
  • Write and edit social copy used in campaign’s social channels.

Who You Are:

  • 7+ years of marketing agency or in house experience with brands 
  • Demonstrates or has owned a strategic approach to social media on behalf of a brand, thinks audience first and then responds strategically
  • Ability to understand cultural issues and tensions and explain them verbally and in deck form 
  • Fundamental understanding of content creation, with ability to identify audience specific trends, threats, and opportunities on social platforms
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively interact with individuals across all levels, backgrounds, lived experiences, and perspectives
  • Proactive and able to meet fast deadlines
  • Strong understanding of key performance drivers and ability to execute against findings 

Compensation:

This position has an estimated weekly salary range of between $2,000 and $2,500.
