Caitlyn McKenzie

Caitlyn McKenzie is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Principal Legal Officer (a/g) and Senior Legal Officer in the Office of International Law at the Attorney-General's Department since January 2023. With previous experience as Legal Counsel and Strategic Engagement Adviser at DT Global, Caitlyn has supported investment treaty implementation across the Pacific and conducted research for the Papua New Guinea general election. Additional roles include serving as an Investment Program Adviser for PACER Plus and holding various positions within the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, where policy and multilateral coordination were key focuses. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in International Relations & Law from The University of Edinburgh, a Juris Doctor from The Australian National University, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia.
