Jagdish Mehra

Jagdish Mehra has over 15 years of work experience in various roles within the technology and government sectors. Jagdish is currently working at the Attorney-General's Department as the Head of Digital Capability Delivery, responsible for leading the development and delivery of digital solutions. Prior to this, they held positions such as Head of Digital Solutions and Director of Information Division at the same department.

Before joining the Attorney-General's Department, Jagdish worked at IP Australia as the Director of Centres of Excellence, where they were responsible for developing the agency's capabilities in project management, business analysis, software engineering, and agile methodologies.

Jagdish also has experience working at Geoscience Australia, where they held positions such as Director of Scientific Computing, Program Director of Science First, Executive Officer of Agency's ICT Work Program, and ICT PMO Manager. In these roles, they led various initiatives to transform the agency's IT service delivery model, develop the yearly ICT work program, and manage ICT projects and programs.

Jagdish started their career as a Software Engineer at HCL Technologies and worked part-time as a Software Engineer at Isidore and the Department of Defence. Jagdish also worked as an IT Tutor at the University of Canberra.

Jagdish Mehra holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Canberra, which they obtained from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Delhi University from 2001 to 2004. In addition to their academic background, Jagdish has obtained certifications in Managing Successful Program, Prince2, and Management of Portfolio from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
