Mehak Gillani

Mehak Gillani is currently serving as a Team Lead Associate Attorney at Attorney Raju Mahajan & Associates, focusing on business immigration law, specifically National Interest Waivers (EB-2). Prior to this role, Mehak worked as a Law Clerk at YOUMAN, MADEO & FASANO LLP., specializing in family and humanitarian immigration law, including removal defense. Mehak also participated in the Pro Bono Scholars Program at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York, providing immigrant and refugee services. Previous experience includes legal internships in asylum and deportation defense clinics at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, as well as various roles at organizations like Queens Legal Services and the International Rescue Committee. Mehak obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) from Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Global Health from The University of Georgia.
