Archie I. Grubb

Archie Grubb specializes in complex litigation, including class actions, mass torts, and whistleblower cases. Most recently, as a partner in a large consumer law firm, Archie handled cases throughout the country against auto manufacturers, financial institutions, big-box retailers, insurance carriers, and pharmaceutical companies. Archie was co-counsel on two class actions that provided millions in relief to homeowners related to force-placed flood insurance. Archie also was an active participant in multi-district litigation related to vehicle emissions (Volkswagen and Fiat Chrysler), airbags (Takata and various auto manufacturers), data security (Target, Marriott, and others), health insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield), and smartphone defects (Apple).

Archie has handled whistleblower cases that resulted in the recovery of millions of fraudulently taken taxpayer funds. In one case, his clients were instrumental in closing a for-profit college that defrauded its students. Archie has also litigated numerous business claims to six and seven-figure recoveries, including $1.3+ million for a dispute between a small business and its insurer. Archie has also handled personal injury claims resulting in six and seven-figure recoveries, including $3.8+ million for serious injuries sustained in an on-the-job car crash. He has given presentations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico on various aspects of class action and whistleblower litigation.
