Martín A. MacCarone

Martín A. Maccarone is an accomplished Associate Scientist at ATUM since November 2021, specializing in the purification of recombinant and fusion proteins using automated AKTA systems. With a strong background in developing endotoxin removal workflows and authoring standard operating procedures, Martín Maccarone also trains new associates on purification best practices. Previously, at Celltheon Corporation, proficiency in purifying therapeutic proteins and conducting protein quality control assays was demonstrated. Prior experiences include optimizing bioprocess conditions for CHO cells and conducting fed-batch studies at the Keck Graduate Institute. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Biopharmaceutical Processing from Keck Graduate Institute, complemented by degrees in Clinical Biochemistry and Pharmacy from the University of Buenos Aires.
