Matthew Chasen

Matthew Chasen is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader with extensive experience in founding and leading innovative companies. As the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of LIFT Aircraft since September 2017, Matthew is dedicated to advancing aerial mobility. In addition, as the Co-founder, Investor, and Chairman of Hitch, which launched in July 2018, Matthew is transforming city-to-city travel by modernizing the hitchhiking model. Matthew also founded uShip in 2003, the largest online marketplace for shipping, where Matthew served as CEO until 2016 and received several accolades for leadership. Since May 2014, Matthew has been the Founder and CEO of ATX Seed Ventures, a venture capital fund dedicated to supporting early-stage companies in Austin. Matthew's previous roles include internships at Hunt Ventures and The Boeing Company, where valuable skills were developed in business development and engineering. Matthew holds an MBA in Private Equity Finance and Entrepreneurship from Texas McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
