Gregory Spray

Gregory J. Spray serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Auburn University since August 2022. Prior to this role, Gregory held multiple positions at Michigan State University from August 2020 to August 2022, including Assistant Professor, Graduate Program Director, and Postdoctoral Research Associate. In addition, Gregory has contributed as a Chapter Advisor for Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity since March 2019, fostering leadership and academic achievement within the organization. Experience includes research roles focused on the neural bases of speech perception and developmental stuttering, as well as clinical practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist assessing and treating various communication disorders. Gregory earned a Ph.D. in Communicative Sciences & Disorders, a Master of Arts in the same field, and a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, all from Michigan State University and Western Michigan University.
