Kirsten Lacy is an accomplished art museum director with extensive experience in the cultural sector. Currently serving as the Director of Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki since April 2019, Lacy previously held the position of Deputy Director at the National Gallery of Australia from August 2015 to October 2018 and served as Director of Shepparton Art Museum from 2007 to July 2015. Lacy was also actively involved in the Public Galleries Association of Victoria as Vice President from May 2012 to May 2014 and as a board member from 2010 to 2012. Lacy's educational background includes a Senior Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School and a Masters of Curatorship from The University of Melbourne, alongside a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Victorian College of the Arts.
