Vitale Lafaele

Vitale (VJ) Lafaele has extensive experience in leadership and emergency management, currently serving as Principal Advisor Leadership and Senior Advisor Emergency Management and Business Continuity at the Ministry of Social Development since August 2022. Additionally, Vitale has been the Business Director at Impactful Conversations since January 2020, specializing as a keynote speaker and facilitator in leadership, diversity, and business mentorship. Involvement with the Institute of Directors in New Zealand and the Auckland Business Chamber as a member and NZ Business Mentor, respectively, further showcases expertise in the field. Vitale’s previous roles include Crisis and Emergency Manager at Westpac, Board Trustee at Camp Quality New Zealand, and significant positions within the New Zealand Police and Defence Force. Educational qualifications include a Diploma of Police Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Sport Management and Coaching.
