Brian Maney

Brian Maney is an experienced Senior Project Manager at Auckland Council since August 2011, where leadership of project teams encompassing external stakeholders, consultants, and contractors is executed to successfully deliver high-complexity new capital works and renewal projects. Previously, as Team Leader Building Control, management and direction were provided to a team of building surveyors, inspectors, and assessors, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and building codes. Prior to 2011, Brian held various project management and site management roles in the Auckland region for small to medium construction projects. Educational qualifications include a Site Safe Consultant (Gold Card), a National Diploma in Building Control Surveying, and a NZ Trade Certificate in Carpentry/Building. A Licensed Building Practitioner Site S3 credential is on record, available for renewal.
