Gyanesh Gounder

Gyanesh Gounder is a highly experienced system architect currently working at Auckland Council since December 2024 and previously served as a geospatial architect at Watercare Services Limited from December 2016 to December 2024. Gyanesh has a robust background in geospatial technologies, contributing as a GIS tech lead, analyst, and data analyst, where responsibilities included developing tools for processing large datasets, enhancing GIS development practices, and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships. Additionally, Gyanesh played an integral role as a solution architect for the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ) on a significant IT initiative aimed at establishing digital capabilities across multiple organizations.
