Paul Duffy

Paul Duffy is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as the Team Manager Specialist Advice at Auckland Council since February 2012. In this role, Paul focuses on improving Auckland's biodiversity and managing biosecurity threats through specialist technical advice and best practice leadership. Previous positions include Team Leader for Volunteering and Programmes, where Paul managed Community Parks Rangers to support over 300 community groups in bush restoration efforts across 600 parks, and Parks Advisor for Devonport-Takapuna, responsible for managing local and sports parks. Paul has also contributed to governance as a board member of the Outdoors New Zealand Sub Committee and as a steering group member of The Genrate Network. Prior experience includes a Contract Supervisor role at Hamilton City Council and landscape design work at O2 Landscapes. Educational background includes attending Rangitoto College.
