Andrew McGill

Andrew McGill serves as the Group Manager of Transport Network, Planning and Policy at Auckland Transport since September 2018, overseeing the Integrated Network Planning team and the Spatial Planning and Policy Advice team, which focus on transport strategy, policy, and future land use integration. Previously, Andrew held the position of Head of Integrated Network Planning, where responsibilities included planning future transport networks across various modes. Prior experience includes managerial roles in venue transport for the Commonwealth Games and transport planning at TransLink Transit Agency. Andrew's educational background includes a Master's in Urban and Regional Planning from QUT and a Certificate of Transport Management from the University of Sydney. Key achievements encompass various transport strategies and operational plans contributing to Auckland’s transport system, alongside significant project contributions in sustainable transport planning.
