Kristen Durand has a diverse work experience in the real estate and marketing industry. Kristen started their career in 1994 with CBRE, where they held various roles such as Market Researcher, Graphic Designer, and Marketing Department Supervisor. At CBRE, they were responsible for developing marketing plans, creating content for direct mail and advertising, and supervising the design and production workflow. In 2006, they joined Amies Communications as an Account Strategist, where they managed marketing plans and collateral for clients. Durand then worked at CBRE again, this time in the Inland Empire Region as a Marketing Manager, collaborating on marketing strategy and defining product-line marketing plans. In 2007, they joined the Irvine Company, Office Properties Division as a Vice President in various marketing roles. In their most recent position at Auction.com as the Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Durand is responsible for marketing the disruption of the residential distressed disposition industry and turning houses back into homes faster to support neighborhood stabilization and the economy.
Kristen Durand's education history begins in 1988 when they attended UC Irvine for a period of two years, focusing on general education. Following this, they enrolled at California State University, Long Beach from 1990 to 1993, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Recreation & Leisure Studies. After completing their undergraduate degree, Kristen went on to attend the University of Phoenix from 1997 to 1999, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Business Administration.
