Felix Sattler, PhD, is currently working as a Deep Learning Engineer at Audatic since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute HHI from September 2018 to September 2021. During their time at HHI, Felix focused on research areas such as Federated Learning and Efficient Distributed Deep Learning for mobile and embedded IoT devices. Felix published first-author articles in reputable journals and presented at international conferences. Furthermore, Felix designed and executed large-scale distributed training experiments involving modern neural network architectures. Before their role at HHI, Felix worked as a Student Research Assistant at the same institution from April 2017 to August 2018. Felix also gained experience as a Student Teaching Assistant at Technische Universität Berlin, where they assisted with courses on Analysis for Engineers I and Linear Algebra for Engineers from April 2014 to October 2016.
Felix Sattler, PhD, has an extensive education history. Felix began their academic journey in 2012 at Technische Universität Berlin, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2016, Felix continued their education at Technische Universität Berlin, simultaneously earning two Master of Science degrees. The first was in Computer Science, which they completed in 2018, and the second was in Scientific Computing, also completed in 2018. During this time, Felix also had the opportunity to study Applied Mathematics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2017. Finally, in 2021, Felix Sattler successfully obtained their doctorate, Dr. rer. nat., in Informatik from Technische Universität Berlin.
