Blair Nelson

Blair Nelson has a strong background in various roles within the finance and consulting industries. Blair most recently worked as a Managing Director of Portfolio Support at Audax Private Equity, where they have been since 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Vice President of Portfolio Support at the same company from 2019 to 2023. Blair also held the position of Managing Director at Gordon Brothers from 2014 to 2019 and acted as a Principal at L.E.K. Consulting from 2012 to 2014. Before that, they were the General Manager of Corporate Development at Fletcher Building from 2009 to 2012. Blair's career began at Bain & Company, where they were a Case Team Leader from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they worked at L.E.K. Consulting as a Consultant from 2000 to 2003. Blair started their professional journey as a Strategic Analyst at ASB Bank in 1998.

Blair Nelson's education history begins in 1994 when they attended The University of Auckland. Blair studied Mechanical Engineering and completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in 1996. After that, in 1997, Blair briefly attended the University of Canterbury, focusing on Engineering Management and earning a Master of Engineering Management degree.

Later, in 2003, Blair pursued higher education at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. There, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Strategy, Finance, and Economics program in 2005.
