Shelby Taylor-Thorn

Shelby Taylor-Thorn has held various roles in the media industry since 2011. From 2011 to 2014, Shelby was a Nutrition Assistant at Poudre Valley Hospital, where they provided meal room service to patients and performed kitchen and food service tasks. From 2014 to 2021, Shelby worked for Townsquare Media, where they held the roles of Brand Manager, Music Director and On-Air Host, and Promotions Assistant. In this role, Shelby wrote creative copy for on-air and online use, conducted day-to-day broadcast operations for two active radio brands, oversaw station apps, websites, and digital platforms, oversaw music programming, published two original, local digital articles per day, and maintained relationships with artists, record labels, management, promoters, and venues. From 2021 to 2022, Shelby was the Marketing Director and Artist Hospitality at BandWagon Magazine. Lastly, Shelby currently holds the role of Head of Discovr Independent Artist Program/Faidr DJ at faidr since 2022, where they voice and produces for the radio streaming service and curates artists for the app's independent and emerging artist program.

Shelby Taylor-Thorn attended Colorado State University from 2010 to 2013, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communications.
