In 2003, Thibaut enrolled at the INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon and completed a Master's Degree in Materials Science.

Continuing their academic journey, Thibaut pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 from 2003 to 2006, specializing in Material Science.

Aside from their formal education, Thibaut obtained various certifications to enhance their skill set. In 2016, they earned a Yellow Belt in lean six sigma from CUBIK Partners. Furthermore, in 2017, they completed Watchmaking basic training from ifage and received PMI training from Cegos SWISS. Most recently, in 2019, Thibaut obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Skilltec.
