Jose Maria Mayoral Montilla began their career in 2011 as a member of the Diocesan Administration for the Diocese of Córdoba, where they were responsible for accounting and payments using Contaplus and Gestplus. In 2012, they joined the Marketing & Social Media Team at ROME REPORTS TV News Agency, where they created content for social media and covered the Conclave 2013 and the first months of the pontificate of Pope Francis. In 2013, they joined Audiense as a Project Manager, where they were a member of the Project Team and was responsible for executing demand projects for key clients, creating monthly reports, and providing support to the Customer Success Team and Sales Team. Jose Maria also used a variety of software such as Audiense, Meltwater, Pulsar, RivalIQ, IQData, HubSpot, G Suite, WordPress, Trello, and Monday. In addition, they held the role of Support Manager, engaging with customers to identify their needs, handling emails from customers and partners, and segmenting customer issues.

Jose Maria Mayoral Montilla obtained a Licenciatura Administración y Dirección de Empresas (ADE) from Universidad Loyola between 2007 and 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they participated in the Erasmus Program at Sapienza Università di Roma, studying Economics for two semesters. Jose Maria then completed an MBA and Máster en Big Data from ENEB - Escuela de Negocios Europea de Barcelona in 2020.
