Bruce C. Olson

Bruce C. Olson, FASA, FAES, has extensive experience in the audio engineering field, currently serving as the Past-President and Standards Committee Chair of the Audio Engineering Society since November 2011. Bruce Olson is also the President of AFMG Services North America, LLC, and has led Olson Sound Design as Principal Consultant since 1991, specializing in acoustical and audio-visual system designs for various performance venues. Additionally, Bruce Olson contributes to the Bend in the River Big Band as a tenor saxophonist and has held the role of Advanced Technical Support at Ahnert Feistel Media Group from 2001 until January 2024, assisting with various design and measurement software. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Engineer at AVC Systems, Inc. Bruce Olson earned a B.A. in Music from Gustavus Adolphus College between 1972 and 1976.
