Daniel Cantor is an accomplished music producer, mix engineer, and educator with extensive experience in the music industry. Currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Songwriting and Music Production and Engineering departments at Berklee College of Music, Cantor has been instrumental in teaching production for over a decade. As the founder of Notable Productions, Cantor has developed a successful career in music production and composition since 1987. Additionally, Cantor acts as Faculty Advisor for the Berklee College of Music's AES student chapter, guiding students in competitions and industry networking. With a background as a music producer for Nomadic Wax LLC and consultancy for SuperMacMan.com, Cantor also has experience teaching audio production at Boston University's CDIA. Educational achievements include degrees from Middlebury College and the University of Colorado Boulder, complemented by a commitment to advancing the field of music through both teaching and production.

The Audio Engineering Society, celebrating over 70 years of audio excellence, now counts over 12,000 members throughout the U.S., Latin America, Europe, Japan and the Far East. The organization serves as the pivotal force in the exchange and dissemination of technical information for the industry. Currently, its members are affiliated with 90 AES professional sections and more than 120 AES student sections around the world. Section activities include guest speakers, technical tours, demonstrations and social functions. Through local AES section events members experience valuable opportunities for professional networking and personal growth.
