Miles Fulwider

Vice Chair, Student Recording Competition at Audio Engineering Society

Miles Fulwider is currently the Vice Chair of the Student Recording Competition at the Audio Engineering Society. Miles has over 10 years of experience in the music industry, working as both a producer and engineer.

Miles got their start in music production at Grinder Blues, where they worked as a producer for two years. Miles then went on to work as a producer and president of Beyond The Music Media for two years. In 2012, they started their own company, Miles Fulwider Productions, where they work as a mixing and mastering engineer.

In addition to their work in the music industry, Miles has also taught as an instructor of entertainment industry studies and coordinator of sound recording technology at the Delta Music Institute at Delta State University. Miles is currently teaching courses in computer skills for musicians, recording studio theory and practice, critical listening, audio monitoring and mixing, mastering, and live sound reinforcement.

Miles Fulwider has an advanced certificate in tonmeister studies from New York University, a BS in multimedia communication technology - digital media from Utah Valley University, and an AS in information technology from Utah Valley University. Miles is also an Avid Certified Instructor in Avid Pro Tools Certified Instructor - Operator Music, Avid Pro Tools Certified Instructor - Operator Post, Avid Pro Tools Certified Instructor - Pro Tools for Game Audio, and Avid Pro Tools Certified Instructor - User.
