Shir Damri

Shir Damri has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Technical Officer in the Israel Defense Forces from March 2012 to September 2015. During this time, they were responsible for technical maintenance and coordination with both insource and outsource organizations. Shir also commanded a team of 23 soldiers and career soldiers.

Following their military service, Shir joined Appleseeds Academy as an Instructor in July 2016. In this role, they developed technical materials and served as a Python and C# instructor for high school students. Shir holds a certificate from the Cisco Network Academy for CCNA R&S and IT Essentials courses. Shir remained with Appleseeds Academy until March 2022.

Currently, Shir is working at AudioCodes, where they started as an Automation Engineer in November 2020. In this position, they wrote automation infrastructure in multiple frameworks (Python, Selenium) and developed sophisticated and stable automation frameworks to enhance efficiency, reusability, and flexibility. Shir is experienced with AWS/Azure deployment. Later, they were promoted to the position of Automation Team Lead in May 2023.

Shir Damri completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. This education took place from 2017 to 2021. In addition, Shir obtained a certification as a Cisco Certified DevNet Specialist - Core from Cisco in June 2023.
