Fiona Lees

Fiona Lees is a Senior Auditor at Audit Scotland since April 2022, with a diverse background in data analysis and information management. Prior to this role, Fiona undertook a Learning Sabbatical focusing on data analysis, particularly with R programming, and previously worked as a Principal Information Analyst at Public Health Scotland and NHS National Services Scotland, where Fiona led numerous complex projects centered on survey design and trauma service improvements. Fiona's early career includes roles as a Research Fellow at the University of Strathclyde, managing data for a clinical trial, a Software Engineer at Mitel, and a Textile Technologist at Jaeger. Fiona holds an MSc in Information Management from the University of Strathclyde and a BSc in Clothing from Heriot-Watt University.
