Sophie Gauld

Sophie Gauld has an extensive work experience in the travel industry. Sophie is currently working as a Regional Sales Manager at Audley Travel since July 2023. Prior to this, they were a Cruise Development Executive at Destinology Ltd from August 2022 to July 2023. From April 2021 to August 2022, they worked as a Personal Executive Concierge at Destinology. Before joining Destinology, Sophie worked as a Sales & Marketing Consultant for the Luxury Cruise Industry, specializing in luxury cruises from an unspecified date in 2019 until April 2022.

Their previous roles include working as a Consultant at Crystal Yacht Cruises for a brief period in 2016, and as the UK Head of Sales at Azamara Club Cruises for six months in 2010.

Prior to that, Sophie held the position of Director of Sales & Marketing at The Cruise Portfolio, a UK GSA for Crystal Cruises, from 2004 to 2009. Sophie also served as a Key Accounts Manager at Silversea Cruises from 1998 to 2004. Sophie's career in the cruise industry began in 1994 when they worked as the Manager of Inside Sales at Celebrity Cruises.

Sophie Gauld completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical and Ancient Studies from The Open University between 2011 and 2017. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Reception of Classical Studies from UCL in the Greek & Latin Department from 2018 to 2020.
