Kyle Burks

Kyle Burks is an accomplished executive in the field of zoological operations and organizational management, currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Audubon Nature Institute since August 2017, where previous roles included Vice President and Managing Director of Audubon Zoo & Park. Prior to this position, Kyle held the title of Director/CEO at Sacramento Zoo from June 2015 to July 2017, and served as Executive Vice President/COO at Denver Zoo from September 2008 to June 2014. Earlier in the career, Kyle managed insight integration at Walt Disney World from January 2004 to August 2008. Kyle holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Experimental Psychology from Georgia Institute of Technology, along with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from Texas A&M University.
