David Unsworth

David Unsworth is the current Director of Business Planning and Optimisation at Augean. David has held this position since January 2014. Prior to this, they were the Group Projects Director at Augean PLC from April 2009 to September 2012. In this role, they were responsible for the development of the new Group Projects and Business Development Department, as well as the planning and implementation of key strategic projects. David was also responsible for identifying and managing change improvements across Group performance. From June 2008 to April 2009, they were the Sales Director at Tradebe UK Ltd. And prior to that, they were the Technical Sales Director at Castle Environmental from March 2000 to June 2008.

David Unsworth's educational career includes a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) HNC in Chemistry from Nene College, Northampton, an Advanced Hazardous Waste Management from Loughborough University, and a Bachelor's degree in Sports Studies - Biomechanics, Physiology & Psychology from Bedford College of Physical Education. David also has a High School diploma in A level Chemistry, Physics, Maths, and a Diploma in Sports Studies from Bexhill Sixth Form College.

They work with Angela McGhin - Group General Counsel and Company Secretary, Simon Gibb - Managing Director – Augean North Sea Services, and Richard Brooke - Commercial Director. David Unsworth reports to Jim Meredith, Executive Chairman.
