Fabian Kapfer

Fabian Kapfer is a seasoned journalist and sports commentator with extensive experience in various media roles. Currently, since September 2017, Fabian has worked as a Freelance Contributor in the Sports Section for Augsburger Allgemeine and as a Freelance Contributor for Donauwörther Zeitung, covering diverse topics including culture and sports. Since March 2023, Fabian has also served as an Arena Guide for FC Augsburg, leading tours of the WWK Arena. Additionally, Fabian holds the position of Chef vom Dienst and heads the Culture Department at Kanal C - Augsburgs junges Radio until October 2024. Notably, during UEFA EURO 2024, Fabian will be reporting audio descriptions for visually impaired audiences, covering several significant matches. Previous contributions include the European Handball Championship 2024 and freelance work for the Regionalliga editorial team of Kicker. Fabian has completed a Bachelor of Arts in German Studies and is currently pursuing a Master's degree at the University of Augsburg.
