Minnie Downey

Minnie Downey has extensive experience in healthcare leadership and innovation, currently serving at Augurex Life Sciences Corp. since May 2021. Previously, Minnie held the role of Executive Director at the BC Academic Health Science Network, leading the BC SUPPORT Unit until March 2021. With a decade-long tenure at Fraser Health, Minnie spearheaded regional strategies to enhance patient quality of life for seniors and directed cardiac services across multiple hospitals. Additional roles included significant contributions in laboratory medicine and teaching hematology at BCIT. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Technology from Memorial University and training from the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement and Royal Roads University.
