Gideon Genadi Kogan

Gideon Genadi Kogan, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of algorithm development and signal processing. Gideon Genadi is currently serving as a Senior DSP Developer (Advanced Research) at Augury since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Agrint as the Head of Algorithm Development from July 2020 to November 2021. In this role, they developed algorithms for pest detection through vibration signal processing and feature-based classification. Gideon Genadi successfully implemented these algorithms for both cloud-based and real-time embedded environments.

From April 2019 to June 2020, Gideon worked as an Algorithm Developer at ContinUse Biometrics. Here, they focused on developing algorithms for analyzing sound signals generated by image processing methods. This work was related to monitoring heartbeat and respiration and included signal processing, image processing, parameter estimation (tracking), and classification. Some of their developed algorithms were integrated into FDA-approved products.

Gideon also has experience as an Algorithm Developer at 3DSignals from February 2017 to March 2019. In this role, they developed algorithms for monitoring mechanical equipment through acoustic signals. Their work involved extracting features for equipment operational condition classification and failure detection. The development process included literature review, feasibility evaluation, proposing solutions, field testing, and optimization iterations.
