Henrico van Niekerk

Henrico Van Niekerk's work experience begins in 2008 as a Reliability Engineer at ABB. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Maintenance Analyst at OpEx Management Ltd, where they were responsible for project management, software development, and coordinating an earthquake recovery program. In 2011, they joined Meridian Energy as a Wind Turbine Reliability Analyst, and later became a Wind Turbine Reliability Engineer in 2013. Their role at Meridian Energy involved being a Technical Lead and Product Owner for an advanced early warning condition monitoring system. Finally, in 2021, they joined Augury as a Reliability Engineer.

Henrico Van Niekerk completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology from the University of Johannesburg, from 2003 to 2006. In 2012, they obtained a certification in Vibration Analysis Cat II - ISO 18436 from the Vibration Institute Of Australia. Henrico also holds additional certifications in Machine Lubrication Technician from ICML, Availability Workbench Training - RCM from ISOGRAPH, and Root Cause Analysis from REASON. Henrico Van Niekerk is currently pursuing a certification in "Shifting Business to Net Zero" from the University of Canterbury.
