Chris Abel

Chris Abel, CHMM, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental consulting and engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Litigation Service at August Mack Environmental, Inc., since March 2012, Chris is responsible for managing expert witness and litigation support projects, providing technical support to attorneys, and developing litigation strategies. Previous roles at August Mack include Regional Vice President, Program Director - Closure, and Closure Manager, focusing on business development and site assessments. Prior experience includes roles at Alt & Witzig Engineering, Walsh Environmental, and Environmental Science and Engineering, Inc., with a strong foundation in project management and analytical chemistry. Chris holds a BS in Chemistry and Environmental Science from Butler University, and two master's degrees in Environmental Engineering and Environmental Science from the Colorado School of Mines.
